Hi, we want to detect if the picture has a phone or email address, do you think if possible with ABBYY?

Thanks Rodrigo

You can recognize all the text on a page using ABBYY Cloud OCR SDK or ABBYY FineReader Engine and then search for phones and e-mail addresses on your side.

In ABBYY FineReader Engine it is also possible to detect

  • if the recognized word is a phone number, e.g. "Ph.(495)123-45678",
  • if the recognized word is an URL or e-mail address, e.g. "http://www.abbyy.com", "engine_support@abbyy.com".

Use the ModelType property of the WordRecognitionVariant object for it.
