Since yesterday evening you can see ABBYY Cloud OCR SDK service slowdown.

The reason of the issue is in Windows Azure Management API, which is not working correctly. For more information please refer to our blog.

We are sorry for any possible inconveniences. As soon as we get an update from Microsoft the section in the blog will be updated.

Our developers informed that they have found a workaround, and Cloud SDK is now running as fast as usual despite of the fact that MS Azure team still haven’t fixed the critical issue with Azure Management API. We were able to start additional copies of the service so adding additional processing resources to process all incoming tasks fast enough. Routing of the tasks among the service copies is done seamlessly for our customers.

Currently the service is processing a long queue of tasks received during the time when it was working with reduced processing capacity. In 1 – 1.5 hours the service will be working in a regular mode.

After the Azure Management API will be fixed, we’ll come back to the normal mode and this also will be done seamlessly for our customers.
