Hello,

I need to create an ImageDocument from an input stream. But there is no Engine.OpenImageFileFromStream method.

I could use FRDocument.AddImageFileFromStream but this is not a solution for me as I need to preprocess the image by calling methods like ImageDocument.CropImage().

Is there a way to perform preprocesses like CropImage after calling FRDocument.AddImageFileFromStream ?

Why is there no Engine.OpenImageFileFromStream method available ?

Probably the code below will be suitable for your application:

FRDocument.AddImageFileFromStream(...)
FREngine.ImageDocument imageDoc = document.Pages[0].ImageDocument;
imageDoc.CropImage();

In addition, it would be great to contact support@abbyy.com about possibility to add the Engine.OpenImageFileFromStream method in FREngine API.
