Where can we find the javadocs or method calling parameters for FineReader sdk?

Thanks,

As far as I know there is no javadoc unfortunately. All there is is the API Reference documentation in the Engine's user guide PDF.

maol, thank you for your answer.

Lori, indeed there is no JavaDoc documentation. Could you please specify why the current documentation (in the PDF and CHM formats) does not satisfy you? Certainly, our java-wrapper is different a little bit, it is a FREngine API subset. But there are plans in order to fix it. In other respects, the names and parameters C++ API and Java API are the same, i.e. there will not be more information in JavaDoc, then in the current documentation.

Well the JavaDoc is very useful when your are coding in the IDE (Eclipse or Netbeans). You can link it to the library and as soon as you type a class or method name or move your mouse over it you have its documentation showing.

With the current documentation you constantly have to switch to the pdf viewer and make a search for the class / method inside the pdf.

Thank you for your explanation. We have sent it to our analyst. We are planning to add JavaDoc to the FREngine documentation in future but we cannot announce any certain date.
