We already answered you by e-mail yesterday. Could you please check your e-mail? Probably it was tagged as spam because of some attachments. My message was the following:

"ABBYY Cloud OCR SDK can recognize italic font style. We have checked it using one of our sample images. For example, we have processed the “Picture_029.tif” image from the English folder which contains different text formatting using the following URL:

string url = "http://cloud.ocrsdk.com/processImage?language=English&profile=documentConversion&exportFormat=rtf";

and got the result file where bold and italic font styles are detected correctly.

According to our database, you export the OCR result to the TXT export format. As you probably know, TXT is a file format for files consisting of text containing very little formatting, i.e. no bolding or italics. If you want to get the OCR result with text formatting, please use other export formats."
