You can examine the following variants:

  • ABBYY FineReader Engine – it is our offline “big” SDK which gives you flexible tools to integrate optical text recognition technologies into your applications.
  • ABBYY Cloud OCR SDK - it is our online recognition service providing API for OCR. Using this API, developers can leverage industry leading OCR accuracy on “pay as you go” basis in their own applications with minimal upfront investments.

Both products support converting PDF files to searchable PDF and PDF/A formats.
