Good Morning,

I am trying to figure out how to access the confidence of the field that was extracted during OCR using C# and the ABBYY SDK Talking to the COM object. Just to be 100% clear, this is not cloud.

Thanks!

Do you talk about ABBYY FineReader Engine or ABBYY FlexiCapture Engine? What version of the program do you use?

My apologies, the FlexiCapture Engine

Please try to use CharParams::CharConfidence or RecognizedCharacterInfo::CharConfidence property to get access to the value of recognition confidence of the character. Note that CharParams::CharConfidence property is only valid for characters from the documents recognized with FlexiCapture processor. Find more info in Help → API Reference → Objects → Text-Related Objects → CharParams and Help → API Reference → Objects → Text-Related Objects → RecognizedCharacterInfo

The RecognizedWordInfo::WordConfidence property could be also useful - it returns the value of recognition confidence for this variant of word recognition. Find more info in Help → API Reference → Objects → Text-Related Objects → RecognizedWordInfo.
