Hi,

We use the Fujitsu ScanSnap S1500 w/Abbyy FineReader on a dual-core Mac Mini for ScanSnap to perform our OCR functions. We are looking to speed up the OCR process itself.

I wasn’t able to find any information on if FineReader for ScanSnap would benefit from a quad-core processor to speed up OCR functions, or if that multi-core operation was available only with FineReader OCR Pro.

Thanks.
