I have been testing the performance of the ABBYY Cloud OCR SDK and have faced the issue that for some tasks the "Exceeded quota to add images" error occurs. What does it mean? How can I avoid this error?

According to our Billing Terms, ABBYY reserves the right to impose a reasonable limitation on a number of repeated recognitions per account per day; this measure is intended to prevent DoS attacks. This error is returned if your application exceeds one of the following limitations:

  • Applications with positive balance are allowed to upload images up to double rest of the available credits.
  • Applications with positive balance are allowed to re-process up to 100 images per day for free.
  • Applications with positive balance are allowed to process up to 100 barcodes per day for free.

This information can also be found in Cloud OCR SDK FAQ.
