Hi,

Is it possible to load engine if I do not activate my license through LicenseManager.exe? I want to run integration tests on any machine including continuous integration systems. Each machine will have its own license for FineReader. The problem is that I do not know how I can activate my license(s) by using Java code.

ABBYY FineReader Engine must be activated before use, otherwise the GetEngineObject function will return the corresponding error. Please view the following articles in Developer's Help for more information about the activation:

  • About ABBYY FineReader Engine 11 Activation
  • Installing the Licensing Service
  • Working with the License Manager from the Command Line
