We have recently started using an AWS EC2 instance for our build machines, but when running unit tests, getting this error:

System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException: Failed to run license <license>. License parameters do not allow using in Amazon EC2 environment on <our_machine>

Does anyone know why this occurs, and why the test run happily on our virtual machine in the office, but not on the cloud virtual machine?

Could you please specify what version of FineReader Engine do you use? Also the certain parameters in your license should be enabled to use the program on cloud. Please contact your sales manager or your region support team for detailed investigation of the issue. All ABBYY contacts are available here: http://www.abbyy.com/contacts/

It's ABBYY Fine Reader 11 (build 11.1.14.64)

This version should support usage on cloud, please send the request to your region support team and do not forget to specify your license number.
