im trying to recognize some MICR characters. When not defining the MICR mode explicit theres no error, but the recognition is really bad. So i followed the steps described here to enable MICR mode: http://knowledgebase.abbyy.com/article/740

However when trying to recognize the characters now, this exception will be thrown.

com.abbyy.mobile.ocr4.RecognitionFailedException: Unspecified internal error. Languages data is invalid.

I copied the Micr.rom file that came with the SDK into the correct asset pattern folder, so there shouldnt be a problem with the file itself.

Best regards

Sorry for the delay.

Below is an instruction on how to enable the MICR mode in the Android wrapper from the Mobile OCR SDK distributive:

1) Copy the file from the distributive into the folder and change its extension to .mp3:

2) Create a user recognition language object that represents the MICR language in the java code:

3) Set the recognition language using the enableMicrMode method of the RecognitionConfiguration object in the java code (also comment out the setting other languages):

Please try to perform the same actions. If the issue is still actual, kindly send to SDK_Support@abbyy.com your serial number and the build number of ABBYY Mobile OCR Engine that you use.
