Does the OCR SDK allow for the manual validation of documents after recognition? I want to manually validate the OCR text against the original document and correct any potential errors.

Cloud OCR SDK by its nature is targeted to developers who integrate OCR into their own applications or solutions. That is why it does not have any sort of UI for verification by itself. Verification supposed to be the part of application it is integrated to. However, ABBYY has other products that offer this UI:

  • ABBYY FineReader - personal OCR application, has advanced verification UI
  • ABBYY Recognition Server - server product for larger scale OCR projects, has Verification Stations - a separate work places for performing OCR errors correction on large volumes
