I'm correctly trying the on month trail of OCR SDK for iOS, and trying to figure out how can i use new fonts that the ABBYY does not support yet? from what i have red this should be possible, but i didn't manage to get any documentation about this.

Thanks.

Do we understand correctly that you are using ABBYY Cloud OCR SDK?

Yes exactly. to be specific, i would like to use the Cloud OCR SDK for reading fonts in hebrew, that correctly are not supported.

I have read about the "Recognition with Pattern Training", is that the right answer? and if so, way isn' t it part of the SDK?

Thanks

Unfortunately, training patterns is not supported in Cloud OCR SDK. You can try to do it with the offline OCR SDK - ABBYY FineReader Engine http://www.abbyy.com/ocr_sdk/ .

Thanks you for your response, does offline OCR SDK - ABBYY FineReader Engine support IOS 7, 7.1?

Could you please clarify what fonts are not supported by OCR SDK? Actually, it is OmniFont engine and does not rely on particular font face and should work for vast majority of them. It would help us to understand the issue if you would provide more details on what is not working for you.

@Andrey Isaev Thanks for the response, We are working on a App that will read letters from the Bible, and tell if each letter is written correctly on not. The font is called "StamSefarad", I uploaded it to this link for you to see:

Could you please share or send to CloudOCRSDK@abbyy.com a sample of image you need to recognize?
