How to ignore certain low confidence words/characters?

Basically, "I" (just the character I) keeps getting marked as a low confidence character when it's by itself, always. So when I go to verify for low confidence characters I'm basically just going through I after I. I'm wondering if there's a way to ignore I if it has spaces on both sides like " I ", or simply just ignore the character I when verifying a document. Thanks.
