Is there a Java wrapper/binding for Abbyy Fine Reader Engine 11 that is cross-platform? I found a reference to a possibly Windows-only binding [1] but I can't find a download link to actually verify that.

We have a an existing Java app that already does some PDF wrangling and would like to use FR Engine as a pre-processor to convert scanned images into PDFs so we can run them through our existing software. Is there a Java wrapper (or maybe just a CLI utility) that would allow us to do that? Ideally it would work on both OS X and Ubuntu as those are our target platforms.

Your distribution package of ABBYY FineReader Engine should already include a com.abbyy.FREngine.jar file. You can find it in the %ProgramData%\ABBYY\SDK\11\FineReader Engine\Inc\Java folder (Start > ABBYY FineReader Engine 11 > Include Files Folder > Java). Also we recommend you to review the “Using ABBYY FineReader Engine in Java” section of the Developer's Help (Guided Tour > Advanced Techniques > Using in Java).

I'm using the Mac version of the SDK and it's not anywhere in there. Can I just download the Windows SDK and copy the jar from there? If so can you provide me with a link to the Windows SDK?
