Hi Team,

couple of questions

1. Can I install Fine Reader engine on Linux box

2   Do we have Java API to use Fine Reader Engine

Do we really need Windows OS  in complete solution.

Hi

We are running Finereader Engine on Linux (Debian)
and are also using the Java API (com.abbyy.frengine.jar)

Here are some of my suggestions/samples in other threads:
https://forum.ocrsdk.com/thread/automatic-rotation-of-pages-via-abbyy-finereader-engine/
https://forum.ocrsdk.com/thread/python-module-library-for-engine-sdk/

But the help and forum itself do have samples:
https://abbyy.technology/en:kb:code-sample:java-wrapper
https://abbyy.technology/en:features:scenario:ocr-java
https://ocrsdk.com/documentation/

What have you tried so far?
Even with just some knowledge of Linux and Java you should get the installation and samples running.

Regards
Koen de Leijer
