Hi,

We've been trying to implement the OCR SDK from a javascript client, starting from code samples. We're stuck in that all queries will return an Internal Error.

This is a sample log

Response for Task Creation: { id: [ 'a92c6509-763d-42b6-88f6-8afa15646bcf' ],
  registrationTime: [ '2019-02-05T13:45:30Z' ],
  statusChangeTime: [ '2019-02-05T13:45:30Z' ],
  status: [ 'ProcessingFailed' ],
  filesCount: [ '1' ],
  credits: [ '15' ],
  error: [ 'Internal error' ] }

Response for 1st Task Status:  { id: [ 'a92c6509-763d-42b6-88f6-8afa15646bcf' ],
  registrationTime: [ '2019-02-05T13:45:30Z' ],
  statusChangeTime: [ '2019-02-05T13:45:30Z' ],
  status: [ 'ProcessingFailed' ],
  filesCount: [ '1' ],
  credits: [ '15' ],
  error: [ 'Internal error' ] }

By reading other posts it seemed that the first call task status ought to provide the reason for the error, but this doesn't seem to be the case.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Angel,

I apologize for the late answer.

1) Could you please retry, so we will have fresh logs in our server?

2) Could you please PM me with your application name and your e-mail used for ABBYY product registration? I have to check the internal server logs?

Also, please send me the updated application log.

Thank you.

Hi Angel,

In your case, the reason why OCR did not succeed was the specifics of your image. More details are in PM.

Please try the recognition with other file formats, for example the attached file demo.tif Sample image for the recogniton
